The Mahindra is all set to launch the XUV300 on 15th of February. It will be the latest addition to the sub 4 metre SUV segment with some first in class features also. Recently, the interiors of the Mahindra XUV300 have been completely revealed.
The Mahindra XUV300 will get first in class dual zone climate control on the top end variant. Other first in class features are the front parking sensors and 7 airbags that includes a knee airbag for the driver. All these features will be offered in the top end variant with an electric sunroof also.
The comfort features of the Mahindra XUV300 are touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic headlamps, fog lamps, leather seats and projector headlamps with LED DRLs. It also gets 17 inch tyres with 5 spoke steel alloy wheels. Other safety features are reverse parking camera and sensors, front parking sensors, disc brake on all four wheels, speed alert and a seat belt reminder for driver as well as the passenger in the front.
The XUV300 will get two engine options which are 1.2 litre turbocharged (135bhp/200Nm) petrol engine and 1.5 litre turbocharged (121bhp/300Nm) diesel engine. Both the engines of the Mahindra are the most powerful in its segment which will definitely attract a large number of buyers. Both the engines will be mated to 6 speed manual gearboxes.
Only the manual gearbox variants are expected on the launch for now but Mahindra is also planning to launch the 6 speed AMT variant soon. The boot space can be around 350 litres. The Mahindra dealerships have started accepting the bookings of XUV300 with Rs 20,000. The competitors of the Mahindra XUV300 are Ford Ecosport, Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Honda WR-V. The expected price of the XUV300 will be around 7 lakhs-11 lakhs.
